The BEST Chocolate Cake: Date Added: 17 Aug 2016

3 cups Flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
6 Tblsp baking cocoa
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 Tblsp lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups water

Cooking Instructions

1. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, use a whisk to mix the dry ingredients together and break up any lumps in flour and cocoa.
2. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix with the whisk again until combined.
3. Bake in an ungreased 13"x9" pan @ 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. (check with a toothpick, the cake will be very moist, and will stick a little to the pick, but should not be liquid in the center. Be careful not to overcook.)
4. Top with homemade chocolate buttercream frosting.
