6 large eggs - hard boiled and peeled (yolks only)
4 oz butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 cloves finely minced garlic (1/2 tsp minced = 1 clove) seasoning to taste
1. Melt butter in frying pan and add onions, garlic and liver. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until livers are done.
2. Remove ingredients from pan leaving drippings. Grind or mash ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Add the 6 egg yolks (mashed) and one or two of the egg whites (chopped) to the livers. Whip with a hand mixer on high and drizzle in the pan drippings for additional flavor. Blend well after adding drippings.
4. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Spread on your favorite snack crackers or garlic toast.
